Shots fired call results in one arrest and seizure of multiple weapons

On 11/27/08, at about 1300 hours, deputies responded to a shots fired call at 2321 Lomita Verde Drive. Deputies arrived and located Joshua Mcneill(22) who was involved in an arguement with a family member. Family members said Mcneill went into the detached garage and retrieved a loaded sawed off shotgun and fired three rounds at the rear steps of the residence
Deputies recieved permission to search the residence and located four firearms. Two of the firearms were found to be illegal firearms. Mcneill was arrested for violation of PC 246.3 (negligent discharge of a firearm), PC 12001.5 (possession of a sawed off shotgun) and PC 12020(a)(1) (manufacture of a sawed off shotgun).
