Wine business gets greener

Wine growers, vintners and distributors all are making their sectors of the business more environmentally friendly.



That's the finding of the 10th annual wine executives survey conducted by the director of wine studies at the University of California, Davis, Graduate School of Management. The steady trend continues even though production costs have soared, which tightens available capital. Plans are for wine to be distributed in lighter containers as research provides substitutes for glass.
